Bethlehem Cheese Bread

This was one of the recipes we used at A Night in Bethlehem for our church Christmas Event. It was a big hit with kids and adults alike!

2 cups crumbled feta cheese
1 cup flour
2 beaten eggs
12 bay leaves
4 tablespoons honey

Put the cheese in a bowl and mash until smooth. Add the flour and beaten eggs to form a sticky dough.
Divide into four quarters and form round, flat loaves from each. Place loaves on greased baking sheets with three bay leaves under each.
Bake in a preheated oven at 400 degrees for approximately 1 hour or until golden brown.
Remove from oven and spread with honey.
